by sharonkramer @ 2008-03-18 - 15:40:24

People in China or Japan enjoy green tea for thousands of years.
I am sure that you have already heard that green tea benefits the overall health and also helps you lose weight.
Green tea contains anti-oxidants that help to prevent cancer up to 60% if you include it in your every day diet. Green tea also stops the unnatural formation of blood cloth which if not taken care of will cause thrombosis.
It also lowers the LDL (cholesterol) and improves the ratio of HDL.
It also reduces high blood pressure, lowers blood sugar, protects liver against toxins, promotes oral health, boosts your immune system function, possesses antibacterial and antiviral properties, helps your body maintain healthy fluid balance, blocks main receptors that produce allergic reactions and stimulates the metabolism.
I know it’s a long list of health problems but these problems are real! And they affect our lives every day and after all it is so easy to take care of ourselves!
So why shouldn’t we do it?! I don’t think it’s necessary to say that by helping you with all I have written above it automatically help you lose weight by getting healthier.
The main purpose of green tea isn’t the weight loss but a healthy life which by means of the whole concept doesn’t include obesity.
